GATE ASTER SE

The Gate ASTER SE processor unit ensures safe power switching, protecting internal components, improving trigger response, and extending battery life. It also increases the weapon’s rate of fire and allows safe use of LiPo / LiFe / Li-Ion and LiHV batteries at 7.4V and 11.1V / 11.4V. The battery connector is a T-DEAN, routed to the buffer tube in M4 / AR15 rifles or above the gearbox under the dust cover in AK rifles.

ASTER SE vs. ASTER II Bluetooth®

Unlike the ASTER II Bluetooth® version, the ASTER SE unit does not include a built-in Bluetooth module. This must be purchased separately in the form of the GATE Blu-Link (product code: BLU-L). Without it, the ASTER SE cannot be controlled via the GCS app for Android, iOS, or Windows/Mac. With Blu-Link, all features are clearly visible on your phone without programming cards or pressing the trigger. The app also allows firmware updates to keep your unit up to date. Without this module, programming is done through the trigger, and not all ASTER SE functions are available.

Functions of the ASTER SE unit (without GCS app)

  • Firing mode selection (4 options)
  • Piston pre-cocking (off, low, medium, high)
  • Battery protection (LiPo, low voltage warning)
  • Active brake (Adaptive, 100%, 60%, Brushless motor)
  • Advanced settings (Reset, DTC, trigger sensitivity)

With the GCS app, you gain more options for burst settings, piston pre-cocking, and active braking. It also provides overall unit statistics and monitoring of its condition, including battery status. Most importantly, it enables faster and easier configuration without pressing the trigger repeatedly.
